BULLTEC® for COAL

A grader that processes two vegetables at the same time

For COAL, a group gathering multiple big retail chain stores, BULLTEC® has developed an electronic grading system for vegetables that can process two different products at the same time.

“This was possible because our technology was developed specifically to make grading simple and intuitive when it comes to both weight and size”, explains Director Ruggero Ricci. In this specific case, we opted for a two-channel grader featuring a smooth conveyor used for grading delicate products such as zucchini, as well as a larger conveyor with vulcanised strips perfect for melons, for example,”.

This project was born because COAL needed to process multiple products at the same time, so that the goods to be distributed to the various stores could be ready quickly.

“Our systems enable clients to work all day without the need for downtime thanks to the simple mechanics studied for the management of these types of products featuring an irregular shape, which are therefore difficult to process with a traditional system. Everything is combined with easy and intuitive electronics when it comes to grade management thanks to a viewing and weighing system that sorts the produce.”
