Calibra-V TECHNICAL FEATURES:

 

MECHANICS: just like Calibra-T, this is a standard belt that can be replaced with a modular type to convey vegetables to the sorting area.

This method allows to effectively handle also wet products since the water is dispersed while the products are conveyed.

Required maintenance is limited to periodic checks of the belt correct tension.

OPTICAL SYSTEM: length, diameter and surface. The Bulltec electronic scanner recognises the characteristics of the vegetable and conveys it to the correct sorting channels fast and accurately.


EJECTION:
the ejection system is fitted with special gaskets that allow to convey the products to the collection channels delicately.

Ejection speed and force can be easily adjusted to the various types of vegetables. The autonomy of the conveyor system minimizes the occurrence of mechanical faults.

VERSATILITY: the Calibra-V electronic sorting machine perfectly meets the needs of manufacturers that must handle different types of vegetables in the same working day.
A conveyor and ejection system, suitable for all types of products, allows to quickly change from the sizing of peppers to that of eggplants, cucumbers or other vegetables, minimizing system downtime.
The flexibility of use of Calibra-V allows to add it to any existing system or to set up a complete processing line: from the unloading of vegetables into the washing tanks to their packaging.

HOURLY OUTPUT PER LANE:



• Square peppers:
the sorting machine can handle between 12,000 and 14,000 fruits per hour.

• Elongated peppers: the machine can handle between 10,500 and 12,500 fruits per hour.

• Elongated eggplant: with a maximum length of approximately 30 cm not including the stem, the sorting machine can handle between 8,000 and 10,000 fruits per hour.

• Round eggplant: the sorting machine can handle between 9,000 and 11,000 fruits per hour.

• Cucumbers (length between 15 and 25 cm): the sorting machine can handle between 10,500 and 12,500 fruits per hour.


• Cucumbers (length beyond 30 cm): the sorting machine can handle approximately 9,000 fruits per hour.

Products are put inside a washing tank where a hydraulic pump transports the vegetables to a compact vibrating sorting table.
Here the operator discards non-marketable vegetables placing them in the central lane for ejection into boxes or bins. The other products are conveyed to the two lanes of the machine to be sorted and ejected to the relevant boxes.
At the end of the process, the vegetables are packaged in boxes or cartons and placed on the top belt of the sorting machine, at the end of which the operator distributes the packages. Here are the basic models of our sorting machines for vegetables.
